Managing PDF report templates

For many documents in SmartTurn, you have the option of printing a PDF report by selecting Print PDF's from the top of the screen.

A PDF report is the combination of a report template (printout) and the data from a specific document. Each report template is a different way of looking at that document. For example, SmartTurn provides several report templates for shipments. Each report template may have different formatting, or include different fields on the page. When you select Print PDF's from a view screen for a shipment, you then select which report template to use. A PDF report is generated using that report template and the data from the shipment you are looking at.

SmartTurn provides several report templates, which you can activate, deactivate, and download.

If you are interested in designing your own report templates, you can use the open source Pentaho Report Designer to create your own report templates. You can upload, download, activate, deactivate, and delete any report templates that you create.
