Viewing inventory items by license number

There are two ways to view inventory items by license number.

The Quantity by Lic # report (at Reports>Quantity by Lic #) displays a list of all license numbers, within a warehouse or across all warehouses.

The Inventory by Lic # report (at Reports>Inventory by Lic #) displays a list of all license numbers, separated by inventory item (Item # and item details), within a warehouse or across all warehouses.

To view a quantity of licensed inventory:

  1. From the Quantity by Lic # report, highlight a record and select View iconView License #, above. The View License # screen appears.
    • The top part of the screen lists general information about the license number, for example whether or not it is on hold.
    • Down below, the Items Assigned to License Number table splits out all of the inventory items with this License #. This means that if there are quantities of the same Item #, but they differ in other ways, such as having different serial numbers, or item receipt dates, this screen displays those quantities on different lines.
  2. From here, you can:
    • View an inventory item (Select an item, then select View iconView, in the Inventory Items table header.)
    • Edit an inventory item (Select an item, then select Edit iconEdit, in the Inventory Items table header.)
    • Adjust a quantity (Select an item, then select Adjust iconAdjust, in the Inventory Items table header.)
    • Export the list (Select Export icon without Export label Export, in the Inventory Items table header.)

Alternatively, to view a quantity of licensed inventory:

  1. From the Inventory by Lic # report, the inventory items with this License # are split out. The same license number may appear multiple times on this report, if the license number has more than one inventory item assigned to it. This may be because there are multiple Item #s assigned to the license, or because the inventory items with the Item # assigned to the license differ in other ways, such as having different serial numbers or item receipt dates.
  2. From here, you can:
    • View an inventory item (Select an item, then select View iconView, up above.)
    • Edit an inventory item (Select an item, then select Edit iconEdit, up above.)
    • Adjust an inventory (Select an item, then select Adjust iconAdjust, up above.)
    • Export the list (Select Export icon without Export label Export, up above.)

If you have a multi-warehouse operation and have All warehouses selected at the top of the screen, this screen will show all items with the same item master across all of your warehouses. Also in the All Warehouses context, you can only view or export from the Inventory Items table; you cannot make changes to specific inventory items.
