Status of a wave

You can monitor the progress of a wave by looking at the Status values of each document in your wave. See also Monitoring waves of work for additional information.

In a Pick to Staging Wave:

the pick plan is
- Saved when it is first created; inventory is soft allocated at this point
- In Progress once pick tickets are created
- Closed when all pick tickets are closed and picking is completed
the pick ticket is
- Saved when it is first created
- In Progress while the user is picking goods; each pick ticket line is:
  - Saved when it is still in its original location
  - Started when it is picked from its original location
  - Closed when it is delivered to the destination location (staging location)
- Closed when all picking is completed

In a Pick/Pack Wave:

the pack plan is
- In Progress when it is first created
- Closed when all of the goods have been packed and shipped out of the warehouse on a Closed bill of lading
the bill of lading is
- In Progress when it is first created;
  - each BOL item is:
    - In Progress while the goods are being picked
    
    - Ready when all the goods have been picked and delivered to the packing station
    
    - Closed when all of the goods have been packed and shipped out of the warehouse
  - each package is:
    - In Progress while the goods are being picked and packed
    
    - Ready when all the items in the package are Ready
    
    - Closed when the user seals the package
- Closed when all of the packages are Closed and the goods have been packed and shipped out of the warehouse
the pick plan is
